Train directly with PADI® Course Director Rania Merched and move from capable Divemaster to confident dive educator through a structured IDC pathway, real teaching practice and professional mentorship.
For dive professionals
You already know how to dive. The next challenge is learning how to teach, lead, evaluate and communicate like an instructor.
PADI® Instructor Development Course
The IDC is designed to develop competent, confident PADI Instructors — not simply prepare candidates to pass an exam.
It combines professional knowledge, teaching practice, confined- and open-water presentations, risk management, standards and the practical skills needed to think and operate like an instructor.
Review dive theory, standards, skills and your personal development goals.
Build your classroom, confined-water and open-water teaching capability through practice and feedback.
Prepare for the PADI Instructor Examination with confidence, consistency and professional judgment.
Leave with a development plan for the kind of instructor — and dive professional — you want to become.
IDC delivery is led by Rania Merched, PADI® Course Director, and conducted in accordance with current PADI standards. Program schedules, prerequisites and Instructor Examination arrangements are confirmed with each candidate before enrollment.

Why train with Rania?
Rania brings together professional education, leadership, psychology and demanding technical-diving experience — a useful combination when your goal is to teach people, not just demonstrate skills.
Her career as a Head of Department in an Outstanding school shapes a deliberate approach to coaching, feedback and learner development.
Professional training is approached as a development pathway — with attention to confidence, communication, judgment and career direction.
Experience spans recreational training, technical instruction and cave diving, bringing a broader perspective to professional development.
A defining achievement
Alongside a personal technical diving depth record of 131 metres, the achievement reflects the same mindset brought to instructor development: preparation, discipline, resilience and continuous learning.
Not only Go Pro
Instructor development is the focus, but the pathway starts before IDC — and it does not end there.
